Principal Design Office

Jacquelyn Nooney founded JNL, Inc in 1984. She works directly with clients on all aspects of design development and on site managing the construction process. She graduated from Bennington College where she studied Science and Photography. She attended Yale University Graduate School of Art where she studied photography. She moved to Maine in 1982 and returned to school at Radcliff Seminars in Landscape Design. Jacquelyn has subsequently developed two related businesses The Flower Company started in 1995 which grows uncommon seasonal plants and Touching Earth Farm started in 2009 which grows organic fruits and vegetables for local families and area farmers markets. Jacquelyn’s work has been featured in several national gardening magazines and she speaks often to professional landscape organizations and garden clubs.

Design Office Manager

Justin, a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a BA in Landscape Architecture joined JNL in 2011. Justin brings the combination of years of experience in the field and his formal landscape architectural training to JNL projects. He works on design development, drafting, documentation, estimating, plant purchasing, and project management.

Andrew KasprzakAndrew Kasprzak
Construction Manager

Andy joined JNL in 2006 to run the construction division. He owned his own landscape company prior to joining JNL. Andy has vast experience in all aspects of site engineering, grading, drainage, planting, irrigation and lighting. He loves the challenge of orchestrating both large and small projects. Andy’s skill at taking JNL projects from the drawing table to the ground makes JNL’s design built process fluid and extremely successful.

Fine Gardening Operations Manager

Melissa joined JNL in 2008 as a member of the Fine Gardening Crew. Melissa graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a BFA in Design, Space Planning, and Ergonomics. She has spent the last five seasons focusing on learning all aspects of planting, plant knowledge, seasonal maintenance and pruning. She has also devoted a lot of time to the greenhouse, from waking it up in the Spring, seeding and growing, to putting it all to bed in the fall.

Commercial Property & Lawn Care Manager

Fred joined JNL, Inc. in 2013 to manage the lawn maintenance division. Fred brings 14 years of working knowledge in landscaping and lawn maintenance services to JNL. He began landscaping in Connecticut where he owned and operated two businesses. Fred moved to the seacoast in 2005 and has spent the last seven years as operations and mowing foreman for a local landscape maintenance company. Fred’s meticulous nature and years of experience drives his ability to deliver the highest quality professional lawn maintenance service.
